Summer Programming Mini-Camp, June 9th

Come to a fun 3-hour session for rising 3rd through 5th graders that will get your child excited about programming and coding.

The session will begin with a fun “unplugged” lesson on the logic of programming.  The students will create “code” to program a human robot to stack cups in a certain order. The students will then move on to create lines of code to program apps on a phone.  After a debriefing session students will have the opportunity to create a short video using programing through Scratch.

To fully participate, each student must bring a laptop and have a Scratch account.  You can sign up for a FREE Scratch account at https://scratch.mit.edu/.

Two identical sessions will be offered on Friday, June 9.  Contact info@eastcobbrobotics.org with any questions.
